How do I check my voicemail from another phone?

Call your phone number! When your greeting begins to play, press the pound ('#') key and you will be asked to enter your pin number. After entering your pin, press the pound ('#') key again and enjoy your voicemail!

How do I change my greeting?

I want to change my greeting using my phone!

Easy! Call the provided access number and press star ('*') to switch to the main menu. Then press the four ('4') key to navigate to your personal preferences. From this menu, press the two ('2') key to begin recording your new custom greeting. Listen for other prompts directing you on how to save or remove greetings.

I want to change my greeting using my computer!

Note: To record a greeting with your computer you will need a microphone.

To record a default greeting with your computer log in to your account and click the 'My Account' option on the left. Scroll down until you see the 'default greeting' section. Click on the button to choose 'Record a new default greeting'. Click the record button to start recording your greeting. Next you will need to click allow after messageSling requests access to your microphone. Once you hit allow you will be recording. Press stop to finished recording and review your new default greeting. You can re-record a greeting as many times as you like. Once you have it just right, make sure to hit 'Save Changes' at the bottom of the page or your greeting will be lost.

How do I delete a message?

With messageSling, there is no need to ever delete messages. We let you store all your voicemails indefinitely. If you really want to delete a message though, you can do so on messageSling.com. Just find the message you want to delete, click the checkbox next to it, and hit the "delete" button.

When I call my voicemail, I don't get messageSling!

To access your messageSling voicemail you need to call your access number. Many carriers provide a special number or key that dials your voicemail. Our number will be different from the one provided to you by your phone company.

When someone calls my voicemail they hear a recording of my phone number. What's going on?

Login to messageSling.com and click the "My Account" button on the right hand side. From your account settings page you can change your pin to something that you know.
